Isolation, reduced communication, and a lack of mental cues can burden remote workers. How can remote workers successfully balance the demands of their professional lives?

We were joined today by Teresa Douglas, coauthor of Secrets of the Remote Workforce.

Teresa Douglas was born in San Jose, California. She has worked remotely since 2010 in a variety of management-level roles. She holds an MFA in Fiction from Sarah Lawrence College and an MBA from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She has lived in New York, Los Angeles, and currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia.When she isn't writing, you can find her running through the forests of Vancouver, or knitting at her favorite knit shop.
